My first thought about online art courses was wonderfully simple: if I completed a course taught by a good artist, surely I would become as good as the artist. Better still, completing a ten-day course in two days ought to speed things up considerably.
It turns out it doesn’t quite work like that. Courses give you the tools, techniques and processes, but then comes the inconvenient bit: work and practice, followed by considerably more work and practice.
These are the online courses I’ve taken, nearly taken, bought and not yet taken. I’ll add the sketches and more about each course as I find them.
