Day 61 — Monumental Architecture & Lesser Detail

I started the new chapter with Notre-Dame de Paris. I sketched the façade first, then concentrated on some of its lesser details — in this case, a couple of grotesques, not to be confused with gargoyles, which are decorative waterspouts for roof runoff. You are welcome. The façade was drawn with the Naginata Fude, Concord and Togi, with a restrained wash.
