A street view of the mosque, with its tall minaret and domes rising above the surrounding rooftops. The main study uses a Sailor 1911L Ringless fountain pen and Payne’s Grey Blue watercolour. For the lesser detail, I experimented with leftover green ink and Lunar Black, whose textured shadows give the masonry a weathered appearance. The small round window even ended up looking like a moon!
